In late October, we completed Amelia's readoption. Although it isn't necessary and our adoption was final in China, we decided to go through the readoption process here to add an extra layer of legality, and to legally change her name from her Chinese name to her American name. We now have a US issued birth certificate as well. The process went well, we had a wonderful lawyer, and I love this photo of the three of us taken at the courthouse!
